The Casey County man who pleaded guilty to raping a developmentally disabled woman has now been sentenced.

Michael Burt will spend ten years behind bars without the chance of probation. Last August, Burt pleaded guilty to ten counts of rape and twenty counts of sodomy against a developmentally disabled female resident of the Galilean Children’s Home.
Burt is a former employee of the home who worked there for 22 years.
