Police in Danville continue to search for the driver of a semi who left the scene of an accident Monday afternoon.
Police say a semi rear-ended a Nissan Maxima along the Danville bypass, near the intersection of Lebanon road, around 12:30 p.m. The impact shoved the car into a Ford Explorer. EMS took the 80-year-old driver of the Nissan to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for treatment. Officials called his injuries minor. The driver of the SUV was not hurt.

Investigators say the semi drove away right after the accident. Police say the driver was an older white male wearing a hat and glasses. The truck was described as a white semi tractor-trailer.
