Missing Person Moses Frank Saiz of Yermo, CA

A Yermo man in need of medication hasn’t been seen or heard from since fleeing his home during the pre-dawn hours of last Thursday, according to his wife.

Moses Frank Saiz, 31, was in the midst of an episode brought forth by an undisclosed mental illness when family members attempted to take him to the hospital for treatment, Andrea Saiz said.

He left the home between 4:30 and 5 a.m. when he learned family had called police, she explained.

“He stayed up all night and the later he stayed up, the worse (his condition) got,” she said.

Later that day, Andrea Saiz filed a missing person’s report with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Department was able to confirm that a report had been filed, but the deputy who took the report could not be reached Monday.

Moses Frank Saiz, who is currently without a phone or ID, was last wearing a black striped shirt, gray sweat pants and black Adidas shoes, his wife said.

He is five feet 10 inches, weights 215 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, according to a missing person’s flyer being distributed by family members.

He was last seen walking eastbound near Peggy Sue’s Diner in Yermo, according to the flyer.

Andrea Saiz isn’t sure where her husband may have ran off to, but she mentioned that his hometown is Atascadero near San Luis Obispo.

“I just want him to come home safely,” she said. “He needs to go to the hospital.”

Anyone with information regarding last Thursday’s disappearance of Moses Frank Saiz should call the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at 760-256-4838 or 760-256-1796.
