Lexington Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting over the weekend.
Darryl William Stewart, Jr., 24, was arrested Tuesday in the shooting death of Jered Taylor, 26, on Saturday night in front of a home on Carver Road. Police say Taylor was shot several times, and was taken to UK Hospital, where he was declared deceased.
Stewart is charged with one count of murder. He is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
