A Clark County couple is dead after a three-car crash in Mason County Sunday.
According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 4:15 Sunday afternoon on US 68 near the Mays Lick Cemetery.

Robert Kidd was driving his red truck north on 68 when he was rear-ended by a Tennessee man. Kidd was sent into the southbound lane where he crashed into Joseph and Donna Mathis.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Kidd was flown to UK Hospital where at last check, was listed in good condition.
The Sheriff’s Department says they do not expect any charges to be filed.
