Private Detective Lexington Teen Pleads Not Guilty

A Lexington teen accused in connection with several violent robberies in July entered a not guilty plea in court Friday afternoon.

Police say 19-year-old Savon Edmonds tried to steal a man’s moped on Daniel Court. Later on, officers say Edmonds and a group of people chased and robbed a man on Redding Road. Police say they were then called to Fontaine Road, where a pizza delivery man says he was robbed at gunpoint. Officers say the suspects got away with cash and a cell phone.

Lexington police have already arrested as many as four people in connection with these crimes. Edmonds is charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.

Edmonds heads back to court on August 21.
