A Madison county man was arrested after police say he tied his girlfriend to a shower rod and left her there.
Officials say 23-year-old Michael Brainard and the woman got into a fight last week when he tied her up and then left for work.

A roommate arrived at the home on Jason Drive hours later and freed the woman.
Brainard is charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment.
