Wrongful Death Suspect Charged in Cypress, TX Woman’s Death

Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged a 29-year old man in the death of missing Cypress woman Wende Marshall.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted the charge of murder on Colt Morgan. Marshall was last seen with Morgan on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Morgan initially told investigators Marshall had left her residence and went to a friend’s home, after arguing with him.

Morgan left the Harris County area, after Marshall’s father called deputies and filed a missing person report.

Sheriff’s Office investigators tracked Morgan to central Texas, where they interviewed him about Marshall’s disappearance. Investigators returned to Harris County and a search warrant was filed on Marshall’s home. The investigators recovered numerous items of evidence that were consistent with a murder taking place in the residence located at 11214 Fleur in northwest Harris County.

Marshall’s body has not yet been recovered. She is described as 5’6″ and 108 pounds with hazel eyes.

Colt Morgan is not in custody and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
