Wrongful Death Pair Sentenced in 2011 Clark County Murder

Percy Hargrove and Sheena Tipton were sentenced Thursday for their roles in the 2011 shooting death of Andrew Ingram.

Hargrove plead guilty to murder and burglary charges for a total of 27 years with credit for time served. The murder charge carries 20 years and seven years for robbery.

Tipton is facing 10 years on facilitation of murder and robbery charges with credit for time served.

The family of Ingram was visibly outraged by the sentences handed down outside of the courtroom.

“I wanted him to get the death penalty. That what I wanted for him and that’s what I wanted for her,” Angela Rudolph, Ingram’s sister said.

Hargrove shot the 33-year-old Ingram, father of six, after chasing him down during a home invasion.

Tipton drew Hargrove a map of Ingram’s place.

“The way that they did that, they hunted him down like a dog and shot him and killed him,” Rudolph said. “I don’t think that he got the justice that he deserved in this case.”

Rudolph and the rest of the family said they will continue to fight for that justice including filing a wrongful death lawsuit.

LEX 18 reached out to Hargrove and Tipton after their sentencing and they did not wish to comment.
