A Lexington gas station was robbed early Sunday morning, and authorities are still searching for the man responsible.
According to police, just after 1 a.m. a man entered the Thorton’s gas station on South Broadway asking the clerk and two contract workers for money, gun in hand.

The man was described as a black male wearing a tan Carhartt-style jacket. He did get away with an unknown amount of cash.
It is currently unknown as to whether he is related to any other recent robberies in the area.
