Identity Theft Former Employee of Golden Town Buffet Admits to Role

A former employee of Golden Town Buffet has admitted to his role in an identity theft case surrounding the restaurant.

Pheng Sathongoth used numbers stolen off customers’ credit cards to steal thousands of dollars in merchandise.

Several other employees have been previously arrested in connection with the case.

Sathongoth faces up to seven years in state prison when he is sentenced. He must also pay back $5,901.55 in restitution.

The restaurant has since closed.
