Missing Person Terry Randolph of Sandy Hook, KY

There are a lot of questions and few answers for a family in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, looking for a missing man.

Kentucky State Police say Terry Randolph, 44, was last seen Sunday at his home along Mitchell Road.

His wife says Terry Randolph left their home after a disagreement and walked up the driveway.

“I thought he was going to work on his tractor, and he kept walking,” Angie Randolph said. “And he hasn’t come back.”

After a few hours, Angie Randolph and her son started to worry and went to search for Terry. They couldn’t find him and started calling family members to help look. The still did not find any sign of Randolph and called 911.

Search crews continued their search Wednesday in an area near the home. Crews have been hard at work since Sunday, looking for any sign of Terry Randolph.

The only lead so far was from search dogs. All of the dogs that have been brought in were able to get a scent of Randolph and followed it up the road. But in every instance, they didn’t make it far before the smell was lost.

Angie Randolph is confused why her husband has suddenly disappeared.

“He didn’t have his wallet, his debit card, nothing, it was all on the dresser,” Angie Randolph said. “He’s a family person. He loves his kids, his friends; we just miss him.”

Angie and Terry Randolph have four kids together, ranging from ages 13 to 22 years old. Angie doesn’t have the answers for herself, and she struggles to come up with something to say to her kids.

“They’re looking to me for answers that I don’t have, you know I’m the momma, where’s the dad?” she said. “And I’m like, ‘We’re doing everything we can do to get him.’ ”

Troopers say Randolph left his home on foot between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. He was wearing a maroon T-shirt, jeans, a blue hat, and brown leather shoes.

Troopers say several agencies are involved in an active search for Randolph. That search has included a K-9 and aircraft.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call KSP or 911.
