Middlesborough police say a man who was found inside a burned down home Wednesday evening killed himself after setting the house on fire.
The remains of Melvin Ray Shackleford, 41, will be sent to the state medical examiner where an autopsy will be performed.

Firefighters responded to the home on Avondale Avenue in Middlesborough around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Bell County Coroner Jay Steele said once the fire was out, firefighters discovered the body inside.
