A body was discovered after a police officer was investigating a car fire in a Louisville parking lot early Friday morning.
The Washington County Sheriff’s department notified state police after the body was found in the parking lot of the Springfield Reservoir on Booker Road.

Preliminary autopsy results show the body is a man.
Investigators are still working on identifying the victim and what caused the fire. Kentucky State Police ask that anyone with information about the investigation to call 1-800-222-5555 or text 67283 with the phrase ‘KSPTIP’ in the message field.
