Wrongful Death Man Gets 20 Years in Shooting Death of Wife

A man was sentenced to 20 years behind bars in connection with the death of his wife at their Anderson County home in 2012.

Timothy Branson accepted an Alford plea in the shooting death of Modena Sutton, which means he acknowledges there is enough evidence to convict him without admitting guilt.

Branson will spend 15 years in prison for manslaughter and 5 years for wanton endangerment.
