The Anderson County Coroner says a passenger who was injured in a crash Thursday has been taken to the Franklin Regional Hospital.
The victim was a passenger in a car that was hit by another vehicle on US-62 near Alexandria Drive in Lawrenceburg.
Officials say a blue car was heading toward Lawrenceburg on US-62 and was turning left onto Alexandria Drive when another vehicle heading the opposite direction on US-62 slammed into the side of the car.

Two people from Ohio were in the blue car, officials on scene said. The driver jumped out after the accident and was walking around. He told police he and the woman with him were looking at houses when the crash happened. The woman appears to be in very serious condition.
One woman was in the Jeep. Her father showed up to the scene and said she lives just a mile up the road and that she wasn’t badly hurt.
