Private Detective, Man Charged in Two Lexington Bank Robberies

Lexington police have charged a man in connection with two bank robberies earlier this summer.

Police say William McBride Jr. robbed the Chase Bank branch on Clays Mill Road in June and the Nicholasville Road branch last month. Investigators say McBride used a handgun during both robberies.

He is currently being held in Columbus, Ohio, on separate charges.
