Paris police have identified the pedestrian they say was hit and killed Tuesday night.
The victim was identified as 20-year-old Jordan Myers, according to the Paris police chief.
Police say he was on his way home from work when he was hit by a car along the Paris bypass, near the Walmart, around 11:15 p.m. Officials say the man died shortly after he was hit.

The driver of the car was not hurt, and police say they don’t expect to file any charges. Investigators say the victim may have been partially in a traffic lane when the vehicle hit him.
