A trial date has been set for a man charged in a 2003 murder in Nicholas County.
Shawn Fryman will go to trial in August of 2015 in the death of David Sadler, who was found by family members shot to death inside his home.
Fryman was arrested in February of this year, nearly 11 years after the crime. Another man, Joshua Abnee, was arrested in March and has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the shooting. Abnee faced a complicity to murder charge and pleaded guilty in August also agreeing to testify against Fryman, who is charged with murder.

The Carlisle Mercury has reported that the death penalty could be sought against Fryman.
The victim’s wife, Brenda Sadler, said Fryman was her husband’s best friend.
