Wrongful Death Body Found in Closed Lexington Business

A man’s body was found Monday night inside of a building on the north side of Lexington and investigators say the case has been labeled a homicide.

Fayette County Coroner, Gary Ginn said he was called to Premier Car Wash on New Circle Road near Russell Cave Road around 7:30 p.m.

Ginn said a white man of unknown age had been found dead in a back workshop area of the building. The victim’s wounds led investigators to believe foul play was involved.

It’s unclear exactly how the man died. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

Premier Car Wash has been closed for several months. It’s unknown if the man was affiliated with the business.
