The elderly twins accused of child pornography and sexual abuse while they were Boy Scout volunteers back in the 1970s were rearrested Tuesday morning after being indicted by a grand jury.
Police charged Jack and Jerry Cassidy on the original charges of child porn, and indecent and immoral practices with another after they say they found hundreds of photos of young boys tied up, naked and kissing each other in the 76-year-olds’ home.
The Cassidy brothers are now facing additional charges involving alleged victims who came forward after the brothers’ initial arrest at their home on Mason Hedley in August. Some of those men say the Cassidys victimized them in Boy Scouts when both brothers volunteered in the 1970s.

On Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Jack and Jerry Cassidy with possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, sodomy, indecent and immoral practices with another (under age 15) and sexual abuse.
Police say they found journals documenting the abuse the twins are accused of. Investigators say there were records of practically every young boy in their Boy Scout troop, including birth dates and a timeline. Investigators say there was a “poem book” about each child and two books containing logs of sexual abuse. Investigators described the records as “trophies.”
Jack and Jerry Cassidy stand accused of abusing children, mainly boys ages 8 to 15, from 1963 to 1985.
Arraignment for the twins is scheduled for Oct. 24. They were out of jail on bond, but were rearrested shortly before noon on Tuesday.
