Missing Person Kristin Bellomy of Boone County, WV

Telephone poles from Madison to Danville in Boone County, West Virginia are covered with missing person flyers. Kristin Bellomy, 17, left home on October 20 and hasn’t been heard from since.

“He found two letters one for me and one for him” says Heather Bellomy, Kristin’s mom.  Kristin left behind a message for each of her parents explaining why she decided to leave home. She is a senior this year at Scott High School and was facing a court date on October 21st for missing school too many times. Her parents believe that is the reason she decided to run away.   “That’s exactly what it was. She said in her own words that they were going to throw the book at her. I mean she is not in any trouble they even said that at the court house” says Heather Bellomy.

Deputies with the Boone County Sheriffs department are actively searching for Kristin and trying to track down electronic evidence to find her location. Even though it appears that she left voluntarily, the Sheriff’s Department is questioning her friends to see what they know.

While her family waits to hear any news from Kristin or the police, they plan to continue hanging flyers in hopes of bringing her home.  “We would like for her to call or just message someone on Facebook or something to let us know that she’s alright” says Wade Green, Kristin’s ex-boyfriend.If anyone has any information about Kristin Bellomy, they are asked to call the Boone County Sheriff’s Department at 1-304-369-7340

Kristin Bellomy has been missing since October 20th.
