Pedophile Tracking TX Man Confessed to Multiple Incidents

Police are investigating sexual abuse allegations after a man confessed the crimes against multiple children over 10 years in at least four different jurisdictions, including the city of Lacy Lakeview and the Texas State Technical College campus.

Damian R. Jensen, 37, had two indecency with a child sexual contact warrants issued under his name Friday afternoon after an investigation was opened by Lacy Lakeview police on alleged crimes stretching back to 1999, Chief John Truehitt said.

Police were called to a church in the 2200 block of Air Base Road on Sunday evening after Jensen told his preacher about the alleged crimes, Truehitt said.

Officers arrested Jensen at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on the charge of possession of a controlled substance after police reportedly found methamphetamine on him, and he allegedly confessed to the sexual abuse crimes on Monday. Lacy Lakeview officers turned over details of the confession to numerous other jurisdictions, including TSTC police and another department out of state.

If they are true, “the crimes are egregious,” Truehitt said. “We’re talking about victims who are adults now and were family members.”

“His confession is that he has molested kids in numerous locations over a long period of time,” Truehitt said.

TSTC served Jensen with a continued sexual abuse of a child warrant Monday while he was in custody at the McLennan County Jail, TSTC spokeswoman Eliska Smith said.

Smith said the warrant was based on part of the confession that involved two years, 2005 and 2006, while Jensen was attending the school and living on campus.

Truehitt said officers are committed to corroborating Jensen’s confession through other interviews and forensic evidence. He said the investigation is still in the early stages.

Truehitt said at least three incidents occurred on the TSTC campus, but he would not disclose more information about the other jurisdictions.

Jensen remained in the McLennan County Jail on Friday afternoon in lieu of a $110,000 bond.
