A Storm Lake, Iowa man was convicted of making hundreds of counterfeit credit cards.
Following a three day trial, Yoirlan Tome Rojas was convicted on multiple charges including money laundering, aggravated identity theft and using a counterfeit access device.
Storm Lake police say security video, from the local Wal-Mart, showed Rojas buying gift cards with a fraudulent credit card.

A search of Rojas’ apartment in November of last year uncovered $1,800, bank account records, 225 credit cards, 50 pre-paid debit cards, 50 gift cards, and 25 blank credit cards.
Rojas faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $500,000 dollar fine.
