Private Detective: Grigsby Police Seek Woman On the Run For Three Months

A woman is on the run three months after being accused of buying alcohol for a teen involved in a deadly crash in Boyle County.

40-year-old Alison Grigsby was under house arrest at her grandmother’s home in Lincoln County when she removed her ankle monitor and stole her grandmother’s car and money, according to Sheriff Curt Folger.

Folger says that Grigsby was placed under house arrest after she was accused of buying alcohol for a group of teenagers.

The teenagers later crashed their vehicle. One one of the teenagers, 16-year-old Emily Snow, died in the crash.

Folger says Grigsby took off with her grandmother’s belongings on Oct. 4.

Last Saturday, her grandmother’s Ford Taurus was found abandoned in Lexington.

Folger says Grigsby’s grandmother did get her car back but her granddaughter is still missing.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Grigsby police ask that you call law enforcement or 911.
