Private Detective: Kidnapping Suspect Arrested by KSP

Special Agent in Charge Howard S. Marshall, Federal of Bureau of Investigation and Commissioner Rodney Brewer, Kentucky State Police, jointly announce the arrest of Robert Caldwell.

Robert Caldwell was arrested Tuesday at approximately 3:35p.m. after a vehicle and subsequent foot pursuit by the Kentucky State Police, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and Stanford Police Department.

Caldwell had abandoned a vehicle in Pulaski County and carjacked another vehicle a short distance away.  Caldwell will potentially be facing both State and Federal Charges.

This arrest stems from an early morning carjacking and kidnapping on Jan. 22, 2015 in the Kansas City area.  The victim was able to escape after a struggle with his assailants and was recovered near St. Louis.

At least one of the suspects, believed to be Robert Caldwell, fled in the victim’s vehicle.  The vehicle was later recovered in Bardstown, Kentucky after getting involved in a car accident.  Caldwell is 25-years -old and from the Danville area.
