The mother of a 3-year-old girl reportedly taken by her father late Monday in Delaware — and last seen in Burlington County — voiced her plea at a press conference in Delaware on Tuesday.

Michael Trotta, 43, allegedly assaulted girlfriend Dawn Barkus during a domestic dispute before fleeing with their daughter, Elinor, according to law enforcement..

“… just bring her home. Call somebody and just let us know where she is,” Barkus said at the news conference announced by New Castle County, Delaware police and the FBI.

Trotta was last spotted at a rest stop in Mount Laurel in a bright red-colored SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, according to 6ABC. His proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike initially led authorities to believe he was headed toward New York. The search has since expanded to “several states.”

“… we have to follow up any and all locations he has family in and he may or may not have contacted,” said New Castle County police Col. Elmer Setting.

An Amber Alert was issued and the FBI is assisting with the search. Delaware State Police said the girl was in “imminent danger” due to statements Trotta allegedly made.

Elinor, who has shoulder-length brown hair and weighs about 60 pounds, was last seen wearing a purple puffy coat, pink pants and “Frozen” sneakers.

The car authorities believed Trotta had fled, a 1989 gray Mazda, was located in Delaware. Police later updated the incident report to include the two and an adult female were spotted in Mount Laurel.

Trotta, who is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a scruffy beard and balding, was last seen wearing all black clothing. He is considered armed and dangerous.
