Police are investigating after they say a man was attacked with a machete Sunday afternoon. It happened in front of a house around 12:30 p.m. on South Limestone.

Investigators say the victim knew his attacker. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, who ran towards Winburn Drive. A motive for the attack is unclear.
The man was taken to UK Hospital with cuts on his arms and legs. He is expected to be ok.
