Private Detective: Inmate Walked Away from Blackburn Prison

Officials at the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington say one of their inmates walked away from the prison Wednesday night.

They say Timothy Day, who was serving a 15 year sentence for burglary convictions in Meade County, left the minimum security prison around 9:30 p.m.

Day would have been eligible for parole in May 2017.

Day is 36 years old, stands about 5’9″ and 250 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
