Harris County medical examiners have ruled the drowning deaths of twin toddlers at their Pearland home last month were homicides.
Savannah Russo and her sister Sabrina, both 15 months, were found unresponsive Feb. 17 in a bathtub in the family’s home in the 1400 block of Crystal Lake Circle East.
The children were flown by Life Flight helicopter to the Texas Medical Center.

Savannah died that day at the hospital.
Her sister was pronounced dead on Feb. 22 after she was taken off life-support.
The father of the twins was not at the house at the time the children were discovered, authorities said. But the mother was apparently home.
Pearland police said Wednesday they had nothing to update.
