A jury returned a guilty verdict in a Lexington kidnapping and rape case Wednesday night.
The victim told police she was kidnapped in the parking lot of the Versailles Road Speedway and sexually assaulted back in December 2013. Investigators say surveillance video captured images of Parico Coffey at the Speedway just before the crime. Police say the victim managed to grab Coffey’s gun and escape.

According to Commonwealth’s Attorney Ray Larson, the jury found Coffey guilty on all counts, including kidnapping, rape, sodomy and robbery.
Larson said Coffey will face a 46 year sentence.
