Officers in Oldham County say a crook posing as a delivery man forced a babysitter and a child into a bathroom at gunpoint as he ransacked the house.
It happened Wednesday morning in a neighborhood in La Grange. The nanny says the man showed up with a package in hand, saying he had a delivery for the homeowner, who he mentioned by name. She says he asked for a pen, then surprised her with a gun. Investigators say he locked her and the three year old boy she was watching in the bathroom while he and at least one partner raided the home. The nanny says the man is white, about 6’3″ with short hair.

The suspect was wearing a dark brown jacket, khaki cargo shorts and was armed with a black handgun.
