Private Detective: Fifth Suspect Arrested in Grant County Home Invasion

Grant County deputies have identified a fifth suspect in a violent home invasion that left a woman with a bullet wound to the head late last month.

Authorities issued a warrant for the arrest of George Pickett, 21, for charges including robbery, burglary and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Police say five masked men broke into an apartment on Michigan Avenue in Dry Ridge during a card game on April 26 around 9:30 p.m. and held everybody at gunpoint. Police say at some point, a woman came out of another room and one of the suspects fired, grazing her in the head. One of the suspects pepper-sprayed a second victim.
