Missing Person Two Year Old From Hamden, Conn.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a two-year-old girl missing from Hamden.

Police say Hailie Sierra’s mother, 22-year-old Jasmine Hernandez, took the girl from her home at 33 Webb Street. They say Sierra has a restraining order against her mother. While the alert says Sierra is endangered, police say they don’t have any information that tells them she is in danger.

Authorities describe Sierra as a Hispanic female with black hair, brown eyes, and a light-brown complexion. Officials say the 25-pound girl was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans, and grey Jordan sneakers.

According to police, Hernandez is a 5’5″ tall, 145-pound, dark-skinned Hispanic woman with dark red hair. They say she was last seen wearing black and white sneakers, ripped jeans, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket. She has a tattoo on her chest that says “RIP CARLOS.”

Hernandez and Sierra could be heading to the Bronx, N.Y., according to officials. They say there are no known vehicles involved in the incident.

Anyone who sees Sierra or Hernandez or knows their location is asked to call Hamden police at (203) 230-4000.
