Versailles Police are warning consumers of a credit card fraud scheme that was operating out of a gas station.
According to a post on their Facebook page, on June 20, while the gas pumps at Circle K/Shell Station on Yellow Jacket Drive were being serviced, two credit card skimmers were located inside two of the pumps. Police estimate that those card skimmers have been in the pumps for approximately 30-45 days.

If you purchased gas at the Circle K/Shell Station, police suggest monitoring your accounts for suspicious activity. If you discover fraudulent activities in your accounts, or any information regarding this investigation, please contact the police department at 859-873-3126.
