A convicted sex offender was found in a compromising position at a construction demolition site. That’s where he was allegedly discovered huffing paint fumes while in possession of a mannequin head and pornography.
Our sister station, WAVE 3, reports that officers found Jerry Smith, 38, Wednesday night with the paint cans and gas cans at the fenced-in site in West Louisville. LMPD citations reveal that, Smith told the officer he was huffing the fumes to get high.

LMPD also says that they found pornography, female clothes and a mannequin head with the mouth carved out. When they inquired about the items, Smith purportedly told them that they were for his “enjoyment.”
Smith faces charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
