Wrongful Death Clark County Murder Suspect Arrested in Ohio

A Clark County murder suspect is in custody in Ohio. Meanwhile Kentucky investigators are trying to piece together what happened on Twin Fork Lane in the Trapp Community.

The sheriff’s department said the body of a man was discovered in a shed on a farm in Clark County, wrapped in a pool liner. Detectives suspect that the man, whose identity is being withheld pending positive identification, was killed more than two months ago.

Now another man, Roger Kinney Jr., who lived at the same residence is under arrest in Ohio on multiple Clark County Warrants from the day before the murder is believed to have been committed.

“We actually had an incident there on May the 9th, at his residence, where we located him and arrested him and he kicked the back window out of a cruiser and escaped on foot,” said Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue.

The Sheriff’s Department is not releasing the victim’s cause of death, or name until an autopsy is finished. However, family said they think victim is 34-year old Daryl Wiseman, who lives near the crime scene. They have set up this GoFundMe Page to help with funeral expenses, and help a relative travel to the funeral.

Kinney is being held in the Warren County Jail in Ohio. “Of course we are in the process of taking murder warrant as we speak. Those will be sent to Ohio, served on him, then we will start the extradition process to bring him back,” said Sheriff Perdue.
