A Hardin County father is now facing a murder charge after his infant son’s death.
Daniel Cox’s 4-month-old son was taken off life support Saturday night. Police were called Thursday night when someone said they saw Cox beating his son in a car. Officers then got another call a short time later about a badly injured child that was dropped off at the child’s mother’s home.

Cox was arrested a short time later. He’s scheduled to be in court tomorrow.
