A Lincoln County man was arrested after he allegedly tried to abduct his ex-girlfriend’s 16-year-old daughter.
Otha Wesley and a woman had been living together but had recently split up. After the break-up, the woman told police that Wesley said he would get her back on way or another.
The woman’s daughter was mowing the lawn Sunday afternoon. After putting the mower up in the barn, Wesley allegedly came behind her, grabbed her and tried to pull her away.

She fought back and got away. She suffered only some minor swelling after being hit in the face, but didn’t go to the hospital.
A deputy searched the area of the barn with a k-9. Officials received information of a possible acquaintance with whom Wesley might be hiding.
Welsey was found about a half a mile away on Sunday event. He was tased after police say he resisted.
Wesley has been charged with kidnapping a minor, assault 4th and resisting arrest.
