A Montgomery County woman has been charged with wanton endangerment after her 8-year-old child tested positive for cocaine.
The Mount Sterling Advocate states that 32-year-old Stephanie Walker has been charged. She was also charged with non-payment of fines and failure to appear in unrelated cases.
Social Services reportedly discovered the problem last Friday and contacted the Sheriff.

Walker confirmed to authorities that she uses cocaine, but told investigators that she didn’t know how the drug got into the child’s system.
The Mount Sterling Advocate states that the child is now staying with another family member.
