Deputies looking for a missing Pulaski County man found a dead body outside his home late Wednesday night.
Early Thursday morning, his son and his son’s girlfriend were arrested in another state.
A friend reported 56-year-old Edward VanWormer missing on September 15. Deputies came to the home Wednesday night to look for clues and found the body of a middle-aged man outside.

Investigators say his son, Jedediah, and his son’s girlfriend, Amanda Braddock, lived with VanWormer but had left this week.
The two were found in North Carolina and will be extradited to Pulaski County to face charges of evidence tampering.
Until the body at VanWormer’s home is positively identified, Edward Vanwormer is still officially listed as a missing person.
