Identity Theft Leesville, LA Man Charged

A Leesville man is accused of identity theft and other charges, according to the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Gregory Layne Jordan, 37, was arrested on Wednesday and was charged with three counts of unauthorized use of an access card, one count of identity theft, one count of criminal conspiracy and two outstanding warrants from the DeRidder Police Department for unauthorized use of an access card.

He was booked into the Vernon Parish Jail. Bond on the Vernon charges was set at $13,000, while bond for the DeRidder charges was set at $5,000.

Jordan remains in jail, according to the release.
