A bank robber didn’t get much money when he robbed the Chase Bank on Nichols Park.
“Immediately goes and yells to everyone, intimidation, everybody get on the ground I’ve got a gun. He doesn’t pull one out, but he implies one in his pocket,” said Detective Mark Thomas with the Lexington Police Department.

He ordered the two tellers to empty their drawers, but thanks to the bank’s security system, that wasn’t much.
“If they try to come in here and get more cash, they’re gonna have to stand around and wait on police. Any bank robber knows when you walk into a bank and start to make a disturbance, police are already on their way,” said Thomas.
The robber looked right at the bank’s cameras.
He was wearing a red, flowery, fisherman’s cap.
