Federal Agents have raided multiple tobacco warehouses in Mt. Sterling Wednesday morning,
Three warehouses owned by Fred Wilson were raided by federal agents.
LEX 18’s Investigative Reporter Richard Essex spoke with Wilson. Wilson says that the agents didn’t tell him or his lawyer why they were there or what they were looking for.

Four I.R.S Criminal Investigators removed boxes from one warehouse. At a second location, agents swarmed the building and parking lot but wouldn’t say why they were there.
Wilson owns a small retail farm store that was locked and secured by the agents.
He is not sure if he is allowed to operate.
The US District Attorney is expected to release all of the information concerning this case later in the week.
