The suspect accused of breaking into a Lincoln County home and shooting a man has been arrested.
The Sheriff says that on Thursday, John Estep and his wife were at a home on Ester Spur Road when a man came in with a rifle. The Sheriff says the man, Cody Staton, 20, shot Estep in the leg as he left with $1500 and prescription pills. The items were later found at an abandoned trailer once owned by Staton’s parents.

Staton was arrested on Saturday and was booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
The Sheriff says Staton has been charged with assault and robbery.
