Deputies in Polk County are asking for the public’s assistance as they search for a missing teenager from Des Moines.
Authorities received a missing person report on Sunday for 17-year-old Sam Kemp. The mother of Kemp said her son attended a party in Granger on Saturday night, but she has not heard from him since, according to police.

Kemp is described by police as a black male, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with blonde/brown dreads. He was last seen wearing a black Nike sweatshirt with white Nike logo on it, along with dark blue jeans and blue shoes.
