Suspicious activity at a Lexington Elementary school ended with two men in custody after a police chase in a subdivision.
Police say that two men, ages 19 and 20, showed up at Sandersville Elementary School saying that they wanted to register for school. After being told they were too old to go to school there, they were found sitting in a car in front of the school.
Police were called, they chased the suspects to Movado Court where they crashed into a garage, broke inside and were arrested.

One of the men received medical attention and could be seen crying. Police did not confirm if he was tazed or not.
Officers were looking for something in the sewer for about an hour, they found a bundle of money.
We are currently not sure what the suspects’ intentions were, but police say the men were arrested and charged with Fleeing and Evading, Burglary and Criminal Mischief.
Sandersville Elementary students were let out of school, but students living in that subdivision were kept at the school for safety reasons.
