Private Detective: Warrants Issued For Suspects in Whitley Co. Church Theft

Arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects that sheriff’s officials say broke into a vehicle in the parking lot of a Whitley County Church.

Using tips provided by the public, Deputy James Fox and Detective John Hill have identified two suspects in the January 17, 2016 theft.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 35-year-old Joshua C. Buchanan and 35-year-old William P. North. Both men have warrants for their arrests that are unrelated to this investigation. Buchanan and North were last known to reside in Pineville, Kentucky and may be driving a dark blue, 2000 model Chevrolet minivan.

The theft occurred in the parking lot of Goldbug Baptist Church. The crime, which occurred during Sunday morning services, was captured by surveillance cameras.
