Private Detective: Police Looking For Man Accused of Robbing Donation Table

Lexington police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with the March 24th robbery of a donation bin intended for disabled veterans.

Police have obtained a warrant for David A. Kirk Jr., 38. He is charged with robbery 1st degree.

On March 24th, officers responded to the Walmart on West New Circle Road in reference to a robbery. The victim had been collecting donations for disabled veterans outside of the store.

The victim told officers that the suspect got out of a pickup truck and approached the donation table. The suspect attempted to take the jar, but it was bolted to the table. He then grabbed the entire table, placed it in the bed of the truck and fled.

Kirk has been identified as the suspect.
