One person has died in a shooting in Harlan County, Kentucky State Police confirm.
Kentucky State Police say that 59-year-old Charles Webb was shot overnight Thursday at his residence on Pope Hill Road in Harlan. Investigators interviewed Webb at the hospital and were told by him that he had been shot by his wife, Ruby Webb.

Webb was later transported by ambulance to Holsten Valley Medical Center in Kingsport where he was pronounced deceased.
Webb’s wife was taken in for questioning and was subsequently charged with murder.
